Crypto casino minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts

Why crypto casinos set minimum deposits and withdrawals, how the network changes the real minimum, what happens below it – with published figures per coin.

By Torben Noé · Updated 9 Oct 2026 · Casino facts as of 12 Oct 2026 · Methodology v1.6

Every crypto casino has a smallest amount it will accept as a deposit and a smallest amount it will pay out – but only some write those figures down where you can read them before you sign up. This guide explains why the minimums exist, why the network you choose can change the real minimum, what happens to a transfer that falls below it, and lists the published minimum deposit and withdrawal per coin for the 15 casinos we profile, with the evidence level and the date we checked.

Why minimums exist

  • Network fees. Every on-chain transfer costs a fee that does not shrink with the amount. A casino that pays the fee on withdrawals loses money on tiny payouts; a casino that passes the fee on to you would otherwise send you a transfer worth less than its own fee. The minimum withdrawal is usually set so the payout is still worth something after the fee. How fees are charged on each network is explained in our USDT TRC-20 vs ERC-20 guide; the three kinds of fee – casino, network and exchange – are separated in crypto casino payments explained.
  • Dust limits. Some blockchains refuse to relay outputs so small that spending them would cost more than they are worth; on Bitcoin such outputs are called “dust” (Bitcoin developer glossary). A casino cannot credit or send an amount its payment provider will not process, so the minimum deposit sits comfortably above those thresholds.
  • Payment-provider rules. Most casinos do not run their own wallets. The provider that watches the deposit addresses sets its own floor per coin and network, which is why minimums differ between casinos that otherwise list the same coins.
  • Bonus minimums are a different thing. A welcome offer may require a larger deposit than the cashier minimum. Among the casinos we profile, BC.Game’s help desk describes monthly deposit bonus stages with minimum deposits of 5, 10, 20 and 30 dollars, Betway’s cashback offer states a minimum deposit of 5 dollars, and LeoVegas asks for 20 euros to unlock its free spins – all as stated by the casino. Those figures decide whether an offer applies, not whether a deposit is credited; casino bonus terms explained covers the rest of the conditions.

How the network changes the effective minimum

A published minimum is a figure in the coin’s unit – 10 USDT, 0.0001 BTC. What you actually need to send is that figure plus whatever the chosen network takes on the way, and that second part varies far more than the first.

  • Deposits. The casino counts what arrives, not what you sent. If the fee is deducted from the amount – common when an exchange withdraws for you – a transfer that exactly matches the minimum can land just below it. Send a margin above the minimum or, better, ask the exchange to add the fee on top.
  • Withdrawals. Where a casino passes the network fee on, it is taken from your withdrawal. A withdrawal at the exact minimum arrives minus the fee; on a congested network that can be a large share of a small amount. Our profiles record for each casino whether the network fee is passed on and whether the casino adds a fee of its own.
  • Same coin, different rails. USDT exists on Tron, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana and others, and a casino may set a different minimum per network – or the same number with a very different fee behind it. Only four of the seven profiled casinos that list USDT name their networks publicly; at the other three the network and its minimum appear only in the cashier after login (which casinos list which USDT networks).
  • Lightning. BitStarz lists Bitcoin over Lightning for deposits with the same 0.0001 BTC minimum as on-chain Bitcoin, but did not list it for withdrawals on the date we checked. A second-layer route can make a small deposit cheap without changing the published minimum.

Published minimums at the 15 casinos we profile

Of the 15 casinos, 5 publish a minimum deposit per coin or method and 5 publish a minimum withdrawal; 9 publish neither on the pages we could read. “Not published” means we found no figure for that coin on the casino’s public payments page, help centre or terms – not that there is no minimum. All figures are what the casino states (“Casino says”); we have not tested them.

Where the table shows no per-method figure, the record often still says something: Betway’s terms (5.4) set one minimum withdrawal of 10 EUR, USD or CAD across all methods “to cover our fees”; Mr Green’s deposits page lists 10 dollars, euros or Canadian dollars per method; Shuffle’s terms (10.6) say the minimum per method is “shown in the cashier”; Roobet’s terms (10.2) allow a minimum “identified on the Website”; Gamdom’s help centre says minimums appear only in the cashier; LeoVegas publishes none that we found. For 888casino the withdrawal policy gives one figure – 10 in the account currency – for every method, which the table collapses into one row. mBit and Mirax publish a full per-coin table; the two differ on the same coins (BTC withdrawals: 0.00035 versus 0.002; USDT: 10 versus 20; XRP: 25 versus 0.001), which shows how provider-specific these floors are.

What happens below the minimum

  • A deposit below the minimum is on the blockchain and in the casino’s wallet, but the cashier may not credit it automatically. Casinos handle this differently – some credit on request, some charge a manual fee, some do not credit at all – and none of the casinos we profile publishes a rule for it on the pages we read. Contact support with the transaction ID, the amount and the coin before you send anything else.
  • A withdrawal below the minimum is simply refused by the cashier form; the money stays in your balance. The only way out is to reach the minimum – by playing, which is not advice we give, or by a further deposit, which can be a poor trade if the casino charges a fee per withdrawal.
  • A balance that cannot reach the minimum is the quiet cost of a high minimum: a small leftover stays on the account. If the casino has a dormant-account fee, that leftover can be eaten over time; our dormant account fees guide lists the six profiled casinos with such a clause.
  • Bonus below the bonus minimum. A deposit under the offer’s threshold is credited as a plain deposit; the bonus is not. If you deposited for the offer, check the threshold in the promotion terms before sending.

Before you send a small amount

  1. Open the cashier and read the minimum next to the coin and the network you will use; the public page may be out of date.
  2. Add a margin for the fee if the exchange or wallet deducts it from the amount.
  3. Check the minimum withdrawal and the per-withdrawal fee together – that pair decides the smallest balance you can ever take out.
  4. Check whether the first withdrawal needs identity verification; a small balance stuck behind a document request is a common complaint. See casino KYC explained.
  5. Keep the transaction ID of every deposit; support cannot find an uncredited payment without it.

Small amounts are a sensible way to try a casino, but they are also an easy way to lose track of many small deposits. Decide the total you are willing to spend before the first one, set a deposit limit in the account if the casino offers one, and use the tools and help lines on our responsible gambling page if play stops being fun. 18+.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum deposit at a crypto casino?

It depends on the coin and the casino. Among the casinos we profile, the lowest published Bitcoin minimum deposit is 0.0001 BTC (BitStarz, mBit, Mirax), and the lowest published stablecoin minimum is 10 USDT (mBit, Mirax). Several casinos show the figure only in the cashier after login.

What is the minimum Bitcoin withdrawal at a casino?

Of the casinos we profile, only mBit (0.00035 BTC) and Mirax (0.002 BTC) publish a Bitcoin minimum withdrawal; BitStarz publishes a minimum deposit but no minimum withdrawal for Bitcoin on the page we read. For every other profiled casino the figure is in the cashier or not published.

Why is the minimum withdrawal higher than the minimum deposit?

Because the casino pays or passes on a network fee when it sends coins, but pays nothing when it receives them. mBit’s table shows the pattern – 0.0001 BTC in, 0.00035 BTC out; 4 XRP in, 25 XRP out – while Mirax sets most coins equal in and out but Bitcoin twenty times higher on the way out.

I sent less than the minimum – is the money lost?

Not on the blockchain: the transfer confirmed and sits in the casino’s wallet. Whether it is credited is up to the casino’s process, and none of the casinos we profile publishes that process. Contact support with the transaction ID as soon as you notice; do not send a second transfer to “top it up” before support confirms how the first one will be handled.
