Casino licence checker: look up a domain or licence number

Enter a casino domain, a licence number or a company name. The checker compares it with dated snapshots of the Curaçao (CGA) and Anjouan registers, Brazil’s official list of authorised operators and the register checks behind our 39 casino reviews – and tells you exactly what each source shows, and what it does not.

Data as of 28 Oct 2026 · Exact matches only · Not legal advice

Read this before you rely on a result

  • No match does not mean unlicensed or illegal. We hold snapshots of three sources and the register checks of the casinos we review; most regulators are not in the snapshots.
  • A register entry does not mean this domain is authorised. Only a register that lists the exact domain (or our own exact-domain check) ties a licence to a website. The CGA register lists companies, not domains.
  • Snapshots age. Every result shows the date we read the source. Registers change daily; an automated weekly check re-reads them and an update goes live only after review – not continuously. Snapshot dates: Curaçao (CGA) register read 26 Oct 2026 (register edition 20 Oct 2026) · Anjouan register read 26 Oct 2026 · Brazil list read 26 Oct 2026.
  • A company name match is not a domain match. It shows that a company appears in a source; it does not prove that a website belongs to that company or is covered by its licence.
  • Register words are quoted, not judged. The Anjouan register shows all 1,278 entries as “valid”, including 93 whose stated expiry date had passed when we read it; we flag such dates and keep the register’s wording.
  • Not legal advice, not a safety rating. Whether you may play depends on the law where you live. How a casino treats players is in our reviews, not in a licence.

Check directly in the official register

Our snapshots cover three sources. For every regulator in our research we list the official register, licence list or domain tool we read – the place to confirm a result, or to look up a casino this checker cannot match. 20 regulators; links lead to the regulator’s own site.

What each result means

Register entry found
The licence number or domain appears in the source snapshot (or in our own register check). It says nothing more.
Domain exactly confirmed
The register entry itself lists the exact domain you entered, or our reviewed record confirms that exact domain in the register.
Domain listed in issuer register
The same, but in a register published by the body that issues the licence (Anjouan). It cannot be checked independently, so we never call it confirmed.
Company name found in source
The company name you entered appears in the source (exactly, apart from case, punctuation and legal form). It does not tie any domain to that company.
Operator assignment confirmed
The source names the company the licence belongs to – the register itself, or our record where register and terms name the same company.
Licence status according to source
The status word exactly as the source prints it, with the snapshot date. If a stated expiry date has passed we say so; we never replace the register’s word with our own.
Insufficient data
We found the input in our records but hold no register evidence that settles it.
No match found
Nothing in the sources above matches exactly. Not a finding about the site.

The data without the tool

The same register data is published as tables with CSV and JSON downloads: the licence register check (what the registers say about each casino we review), licence register gaps (what each register publishes, its status words and entries past expiry), new licences in the Curaçao and Anjouan registers and the Brazil authorised-list check. How to read a register yourself, regulator by regulator, is in casino licences explained; cloned sites are covered in fake and cloned casino sites.

Questions

How do I check if an online casino is licensed?

Note the domain you are on and the licence number in the casino’s footer or terms, then look both up in the regulator’s own register – never through a seal link on the casino site. This tool runs that lookup against dated snapshots of the Curaçao and Anjouan registers, Brazil’s list of authorised operators and our own register checks, and shows what each source says.

Does a match mean the casino is safe or legal for me?

No. A register entry shows that a company holds a licence; it does not show how the casino treats players, whether the licence covers the exact website, or whether playing is lawful where you live. This is not legal advice.

Can I search by company name?

Yes. Enter the full legal name of the licence holder or operator. Case, punctuation and legal-form words such as Ltd, N.V. or LTDA are ignored; everything else must match exactly, so trading names and different spellings find nothing. A company match does not prove that a given website belongs to that company or is covered by its licence.

Why does an Anjouan licence show “valid” although its expiry date has passed?

The Anjouan register marks every entry as “valid”, including entries whose stated expiry date has passed. We show the register’s word unchanged and add a note when the stated expiry date has passed, instead of deciding the status ourselves.
