Casino licence register changes: 96 Anjouan entries removed, 8 Curaçao entries changed

Key findings

• The Anjouan issuer register listed 1,343 entries on 15 Oct 2026 and 1,278 on 26 Oct 2026: 96 entries were removed and 31 added. The removed entries named 249 domains.
• 93 of 96 removed Anjouan entries had a stated expiry date before 26 Oct 2026. Until their removal the register showed every one of them as “valid”. On 26 Oct 2026, 93 remaining entries are past their stated expiry and still read “valid”.
• The Curaçao Gaming Authority’s register (edition 14 Oct 2026 → 20 Oct 2026) changed 8 entries and removed 0: 3 moved from “Active” to “Assessment in progress” in the weeks before their stated expiry, 0 had their expiry extended by six months.
• 1 casino we profile is affected: Gamdom. Each profile shows the register change with its date; a removal is never treated as a renewal.
• Neither register says why an entry was removed or changed. We report what the register printed on each date – not that a licence was revoked, and not that a casino stopped operating.

The data

Snapshots of 15 Oct 2026 and 26 Oct 2026 (licence-watch tool, run by hand). Casinos we profile first, then by register.

Removed Anjouan entries by stated expiry month

How we checked

Our licence-watch tool reads the CGA online-gambling licence registry (a PDF the authority re-publishes) and the Anjouan licence register (data embedded in the issuer’s page). Each run stores a snapshot; the differences to the previous snapshot are written to a history file and nothing else is changed. An entry counts as removed when its licence number is no longer in the register, as changed when status, expiry, licensee or listed domains differ.

What this dataset does not show

• Two snapshots 11 days apart: changes in between are merged, and anything before 15 Oct 2026 is not covered.
• The registers give no reasons. A removal is not proof of revocation, and an expiry extension is not proof that a casino is well run.
• The Anjouan register is published by the licence issuer itself and cannot be checked independently; we call its entries “listed in the issuer’s register”, never “confirmed”.
• Domains are only listed by Anjouan; for CGA entries the brand behind a licence has to be matched through the certificate of operation.

Questions

Why did the Anjouan register remove 200 entries?

The register does not say. What the data shows: all 93 of 96 removed entries had a stated expiry date before 26 Oct 2026, and the register had shown them as “valid” until they disappeared.

Does a removed entry mean the casino lost its licence?

It means the issuer no longer lists that licence number. Whether the licence was revoked, expired or replaced by a new number is not stated. Our profiles mark the change with its date and do not treat the licence as current.

What does “Assessment in progress” mean in the Curaçao register?

The register does not define it. In this period 3 entries switched from “Active” to “Assessment in progress” shortly before their stated expiry, which fits a renewal review – but the CGA does not say so, and our method treats the wording as not settling whether a licence is in force.

How often is this updated?

Whenever the licence-watch tool is run. Each run adds a comparison to the history; this page shows the latest comparison between two different days that found changes, and notes later runs that found none.
